Great Escapes
Providing programs and support for children in the hospital is only part of our mission. Starlight’s Great Escapes program extends beyond the walls of the hospital and allows children battling a serious illness at home the opportunity to attend continuous events throughout the year including concerts, theater, sporting events, amusement park trips and so much more. Chronic illness affects the entire family including the sick children, the siblings and of course, the parents. Great Escapes is designed to connect children to other children and families to other families letting them know they are not alone in their ongoing struggle.
